Eastern Bank PLC has partnered with Akij Takaful Life Insurance PLC to introduce shariah-compliant takaful insurance services through its banking network, strengthening its commitment to ethical and inclusive financial solutions. The launch was marked by a ceremony at EBL's head office in Dhaka on Thursday, 30 April. Under the bancassurance arrangement, EBL customers can now access Islamic takaful insurance products directly at EBL branches, integrating banking and insurance services on a single platform. The initiative is expected to enhance customer convenience, promote financial in
