UCB signs deal to support decarbonisation

United Commercial Bank PLC has signed a memorandum of understanding with IVY Decarb Marketplace SL to support sustainable business practices and decarbonisation efforts in Bangladesh's textile and garment sector. The agreement was signed under the theme "Partnering for a Sustainable NZCE Future", referring to net zero carbon emission. Under the collaboration, ITX Trading SA may contribute by providing strategic guidance, industry insights and global best practices related to sustainability, supply chain decarbonisation and responsible sourcing. Through the strategic collaboration, UCB
